Dads & Disney Tip: Keep Those Receipts

 

Get it - TIP of the iceberg?  Dad jokes aplenty around here.  We decided we’d start sharing some of our favorite - and sometimes hard earned - tips from the Disney Parks.  This one we learned the hard way following a recent trip to Walt Disney World.  

We had purchased a water bottle that was dishwasher safe - except not for our dishwasher apparently.  The plastic melted and when we reached out to Disney about getting a replacement, they indicated they could only do it if we had the receipt.  We did not.  Fortunately, Disney was awesome and replaced it for us anyway - but make things easier on yourself.  

When you buy something at the parks, snap a receipt.  When you get home, if the product is damaged, you can email Disney directly and send them a copy of the receipt.  They will mail you a replacement at no cost to you.
