WDW's Reservation System

After months of speculating and guessing, this morning, Walt Disney World rolled out it's reservation system to park guests who have a resort stayed already scheduled.  As usual, social media was abuzz with this system and how it worked.

The new reservation system looks nearly identical to the Fast Past+ reservation system.  You will be able to pick a date and a park and link your existing reservation and ticket with your reservation.  When Disney World re-opens, you will be required to have both a valid park ticket and reservation for a particular park on that date.   Until further notice, park hopping will no longer be available for guests.

But the system was not without it's limits.  Dozens of tweets expressing frustration were posted on Monday morning lamenting the long wait times and the inability to make selections for desired dates.

Hopefully the system and servers can be updated to accommodate the influx of people looking to make reservations.  Keep in mind this was only for guests with resort reservations.  On June 26, annual pass holders will be able to make their reservations followed by guests with tickets only.
